It was Halloween 1987 and my friends took me to some massive club in the city. There were some awesome costumes and off course 101 Drag Queens. One hilarious queen was dressed as Donna Summer and she was frantically running up to everyone and earnestly pleading “Jesus loves you, just not the way you are now!”, “It’s Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.” and “won’t you pray with me?” with her mascara trickling down her cheeks. At about 3 AM a big limousine pulls up outside the club and she gets in… apparently it WAS Donna Summer!!
